Prescott Bike Festival – Sunday 7th April 2013
The third annual Prescott Bike Festival will take place on Sunday 7th April 2013 in support of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes. The last event attracted more than 5,000 visitors who enjoyed an action-packed day which included displays of classic and modern bikes, plus a raft of motorcycling celebrities riding up the famous Prescott hill.
Steve Parrish, who surprisingly had never visited Prescott before, said: "I had a great day at the Prescott Bike Festival. I was like a kid in a sweet shop with other like-minded petrol-heads. Riding a 220mph grand prix Ducati up a hill that I hadn't seen before certainly got my attention. Then I was given the keys to a brand new Morgan 3 Wheeler to take prize winners for a run. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday."
John Reynolds, Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes Ambassador, said: "Once again the Prescott Bike Festival was a resounding success and it is now definitely the place for bikers to be in April. As well as everybody thoroughly enjoying themselves, despite the inclement weather in the afternoon, the great news is that more than £30,000 was raised to help the vital work of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes."
