14th July 2018

The Record Breakers

July’s celebration centres on gathering together as many former hill records holders as possible and the list of confirmed attendees reads like a who’s who of Hillclimbing: from 1960s pacesetter and multiple Hillclimb champion David Boshier-Jones to contemporary six time Hillclimb champion Scott Moran.

Many will be re-united with suitable cars, either for a parade or for full-on competition as the day will feature a capacity 150-field of cars, including a class of Bugattis, of course.

As well as the Bugattis and record holders the event will be supported by the Bugatti Owners’ Club Members Handicap including saloons, sports cars and single seaters. In addition a round of the Bugatti Owners’ Club Aldon Classic Championship and New Barn Cheltenham Land Rover Specialists “B” Licence Championship will make for a great variety of cars taking to the track.

A relaxed day of competition with a scenic rural setting amid mature trees, excellent viewing, a gaggle of hillclimb aces and a full paddock including some of the most delectable Bugatti cars in the UK should make a great day out to celebrate 80 years of our special venue.

First car on the track approx. 8.30am. Scheduled finish time around 5.30pm
