July is set to be a Historic Month at Prescott!

It is a scary thought that we are already into July and that half of the season has already raced past us! That being said, we have another fantastic month of motorsport lined up for you as well as a very significant landmark in Prescott's rich history. This month we have already welcomed Peugeot for their annual festival hosted by the Bugatti Owners' Club and was enjoyed by all who came along to display their cars or to simply browse and admire. On the 21st we will be joined by the Vintage Minors Register who organise Pre-War Prescott each year. This year they will be celebrating the twin centinaries of the armistace and the founding of the Royal Air Force. They will also be joined by the Riley RM Club who are here as part of the 70th Anniversary celebrations of the RM Roadster. All of the proceeds generated by Pre-War Prescott will be going directly to the RAF Charitable Trust and it is a fantastic day for any vintage car enthusiast that is looked forward to each year.

Our main event of the month is our 80th Anniversary celebrations which takes place on Saturday 14th July followed by the members Garden Party on the 15th. We have an action packed day for you on the Saturday to celebrate all things that are loved about Prescott and that have kept motor racing fans coming back year after year. There are a whole host of record holders that will be joining us for the celebrations including Sandra Tomlin and Scott Moran, both of whom will be competing. Scott Moran was our previous outright record holder when in 2007 he climbed the famous hill in 36.35 seconds which stood for 5 years before it was broken by current British Champion Trevor Willis in 2012. Jos Goodyear, who holds the current outright hill record with a time of 35.51 seconds will also be joining us for this landmark celebration. We are very fortunate to have some of our past record holders joining us including David and Peter Boshier-Jones, Brian Eccles and the family of the legendary Roy Lane. A huge thank you to all of our returning record holders and we can't wait to see some of them competing! Tickets for our 80th Anniversary event are available at:

Our 80th Anniversary celebrations will be followed on Sunday by our annual Garden Party, an event that is looked forward to each year. There will be a concours display and members are able to purchase runs up the hill in their own car which is enjoyed by everyone. We are looking forward to this significant month in the history of one of Britain's most prestigious motor racing venues and hope that all joining us enjoy your visit and we look forward to seeing you soon!
