MSA chief executive steps down from role

After 12 years with the MSA, Rob Jones has stepped down as chief executive. Jones will relinquish his role on May 31st following 4 years in the role. He added that “it’s the end of a very significant era for the MSA. Firstly, we have seen the publication of the Fatal Accident Inquiry report three years after the tragic deaths of four spectators, which recognises the MSA’s ongoing commitment to improving rally safety to ensure the sport’s future.” He also remarked upon the legislation securing closed roads for motor sport in England and Wales. Jones finally stated that “I believe that the timing is right for me to move on, having achieved what I had been tasked to do.”
